At this time, Machfu IoT Platform supports Modbus, DNP3, Bluetooth (GATT) on the device side, and MQTT, HTTP(s) and CoAP protocols on the cloud side. We also support sensors that have analog/digital interfaces such as current, voltage, temperature or pulse.
Machfu’s IoT platform provides software, hardware, security, connectivity and device management tools that handle millions of connections simultaneously. Along with our gateway device, IoT solutions provide all the managed integration that is needed such as OTA firmware updates, cloud connection, device management, and cellular modem to manage multiple devices online.
Create and Own Your Industrial Applications
Machfu is an industrial IoT solution that provides an open platform and a development environment that is familiar to millions of developers worldwide. Machfu grew out of a simple idea that is developing and maintaining applications and infrastructure for industrial IoT that should be as easy as it is on a computer or smartphone. You can create your application using the Android Studio. Machfu provides the industrial plugins for the Android IDE that will enable you to create even complex applications in days or weeks.
Platform as a Service (PaaS) FAQ
At this time, our application gateway connects to AWS, Ignition, Azure and Google cloud platforms.
For the protocols and devices, the IoT software we support, we write the applications and provide fully managed data services to you. We also provide an SDK for you to develop the application when we offer the platform as a service.
We have a flexible approach and we approach them on a case-by-case basis.
The service consists of all your monitoring needs at the intervals you choose and the parameters you choose. As an example, the application may consist of data from 60 Modbus registers in a controller. In addition, you can control or configure the device from your dashboard. Machfu will maintain and update applications over the system lifecycle and you have the option to add new ones. Periodic security updates, as well as system fixes, are also provided across the device population.
“The SDK provided by Machfu is easy to use and lets one develop smart grid applications rapidly. Since the Android studio is used for application development it does not require deep embedded programming experience and most of the application is auto generated except for the core business logic”
